Bone stock, and probably gonna stay that way, its impressive stock. I want to keep the nice fuel milage too, it's better on gas compared to a oe372. A great worksaw. What you see in the video will only get better after it breaks in.

Every time I run my xtorq 372 (bone stock) it impresses me. They have a nice punchy exhaust note stock (honestly loud and sound modded even though they aren't). I think husky did right when they had the xtorq 372 stand in for the oe 372. Hopefully the same when the 572 gets here. They did say that saw is noticably loud. I hope u.s. regs don't cause them to have to ruin it. 10mm 044 have a hearing protection sticker on them... Put that on instead of restricting the saw!

Mason we definitely have to run the Jonny and husky side by side. I've got a couple of chains to try for 24" bar square LGX from Kevin and round from me which Dan seemed impressed when he ran my 385 and cut up large logs and free hand milling I posted videos of. I also have a 28" skip setup but I usually grab the 385 and leave the 24" on the 372 when the occasional big stuff presents itself!

Cheers.

Yeah we got to do some testing, you know for science and stuff :D. I think the xtorq's exhaust sounds pretty good too, the idle has a nice pop pop pop. I saw in the video of the 572 it was 121db sound level and that's only a few more db than a stock 372. I'm sure there's a limit for regulations.

We just had a OSHA meeting at work and if your exposed to an average of 85 db or higher over an 8 hour period you have to have ear protection. At least thats the guidelines for the printing industry. I didn't pay much attention durning that part cause I always were my muffs.

Yea, I hear just plenty with the muffs on, but then again none of my mufflers are stock!

I did have to take them off to start a stock MS250, I could not tell if it popped!

Yeap and as the dB goes up, the less amount of time you can be exposed without hearing protection. We have to wear ear plugs all day everyday at work. One area we have to wear double hearing protection.
