I'm avoiding anything with cheese, vinegar, pork, and aged items like sausages and hams. Damn near every condiment and dressing is made with vinegar. It seems like a preservative thing and it doesn't matter whether it's a natural process or not.

Here's something many might be interested to know.
Through all this we discovered that dogs can have seizures triggered by food. Our little guy Paco had one a few months ago after he had a few bites of fried chicken. It wasn't the chicken that we suspect, it was the corn flakes cereal that we crushed up and used for the breading. It contains one of the ingredients listed to be seizure triggers for dogs..."BHT". It was the first time we've ever used corn flakes on something we shared with the dogs and it happened about 6 hours after he ate some. He pulled through it just fine.

I copied and pasted this paragraph from a veterinarian webpage...
"Certain spices, such as rosemary, sage, fennel and saffron can also be potential seizure triggers. Walnuts are generally thought of as harmful to dogs, and caffeine can also be a trigger. Foods or treats with ethoxyquin, BHA or BHT of foods withMSG can also be potential triggers." Apr 7, 2017

Fennel is used in many sausage recipes and is accidentally a common dog treat when the bits roll off your meat lovers pizza.
Ya, and SCIENCE DIET which is peddled by many vets has ETHOXIQUIN in it.
Used as a preservative,,its a damn insectiside!
Purdue vet school has a HUGE Hills Science Diet tiled in the floor of the main lobby. Hills is a big sponsor of Purdue vet school. BRAINWASH.....

028 looks great @Chainsaw Jim It must have cost a fortune to get that Ohio speedwood all the way to Oregon. :p
Here it is with something a little more on the normal side of the firewood cutting world, and with plenty of knots. 325 full comp chisel chain with factory grind.

Looks great to me.

Thanks! I used your numbers as an idea target from the 038mag build you did a few years ago on AS. That's with no milling or base cut - just opened up and changed all of the port timing , + timing advance 3 , thinned base gasket for 22 squish and muf mod. Should be a good firewood saw.
