Well. Color me surprised. This bone stock 7301 makita was pretty much even steven with the good running muffler modded 572. Only about .8 of a second behind the 572 on average. Same bar. Same chain. Same sprocket.

They definitely underrated the horsepower a bit on the “5.4” hp 7301. More like 6 hp lol.

All OEM except for the Cross cylinder and the Farmertec plastics.

No it was a parts saw that I been working on for close to 2 years. It's a short case 066 with a poly flywheel and a bubble top. I used the Cross cylinder and had the base and squish cut. Did some port work inside also. It's running a Walbro WJ76 carb.
