Well, it didn't mind the 8 pin one bit.
I have been cutting pine at my house and kept dropping the rakers more and more, and getting a bit more aggressive on the chain and in the softer wood, I found that just like honey badger, Mo-Fo 036 dont give a fukk.
It just eats.
But, it was a bit grabby in hard wood.

It went through some 7" or so cherry crap I had at home like butter.

I "think" if falling, the 7 pin would be better as it would be easier to control.
But for bucking, the 8 pin would be the way to go.

A good faller likely would have no issues with the 8. I think I would.

Jay won hotsaw. WTG. Guy I know. Runs a Bretrand 3140 stroked bored motor.

Some old friends on there still at it. Also 4 from here I can make out.

Saw is running a play chain that I customized a little just for fun.

In 8" beech, first cuts after grinding and round filing

In 16" turkey oak, loop already made the cuts in the previous clip
