I know I'm just not getting it but the tooth sets higher than the rakers so how does it miss the tooth?

There is a little foot/ramp to the left of the grinding wheel it's set to about .035 lower than the grinding wheel, when the depth gauge hits it it lifts the grinding wheel up, then the foot/ramp rides over the top of the tooth and sets back down when it gets past the tooth to grind the next depth gauge.

If you watch close enough you'll see it hop over the tip of each cutter.

Does, if set up right, and the lock nut is set lol.

Yeah, I had started a build thread on a straight gassed 036 pro I had picked up.
It stalled when a proposition was made.
It's currently waiting in line to be worked on.

They are fun for sure. I have a $20 Kung-fu 272 cylinder I am going to get around to messing with myself someday, but for now, I will leave it up to the guys who know what they are doing!

I don't mind messing up a $20 Chinee cylinder. It will be a long time before I am ready to spinny thing a good jug.

It's certainly not as fast as a Black Cat 461 with Hot Woods Port done by a competent builder who knew what he was doing. That WOOD be awesome
