Impressive videos Al.
Ya the 036 is niceImpressive videos Al.
Pretty low ? Ive been about .020 to .025030? Maybe 040 depends on what I'm doing.
Thanks guys.Ya the 036 is nice
How do you like the exhaust side opening first? Thanks guys.
I dont know how to multiquote here.
That one has .054 from the band, the piston free ports the ex floor at tdc, .025 squish.
It also has upsloping uppers. 119 @ the intake and 122 @the exhaust side.
I was thinking backwards this morning. They could be doing that on those wider transfers like the stihls. The intake opens first.
Not sure how much difference it makes. I'd have to test it side by side.
Backtroller's open at 120 even. If he wants, I'll raise the intake to 118. But, he's looking for reliable cutting and not a race.
Anyone here think that the factory opens assymetrically for ease on the rings sliding across them and not for performance???
104/119.5/72What kind of recipe # is in this bad boy?
Stock 12mm. 446 ported hybrid.Very impressive saws here, if I do say so myself.
I have very limited saw experience, but I can even tell what's fast anymore.
Anyone have a stock vs. ported video?
I'm hoping (time, weather and videographer permitting) to do a stock 026/036 and ported with the same bar and chain in the same wood at some point on my next two builds.
Pat,
Did you happen to do a video of your 034 cutting before you pulled it apart?
Would be fun to see the difference.
