Thanks guys.

I dont know how to multiquote here.

That one has .054 from the band, the piston free ports the ex floor at tdc, .025 squish.

It also has upsloping uppers. 119 @ the intake and 122 @the exhaust side.
How do you like the exhaust side opening first?

The intake opens first.

Not sure how much difference it makes. I'd have to test it side by side.

Backtroller's open at 120 even. If he wants, I'll raise the intake to 118. But, he's looking for reliable cutting and not a race.

Anyone here think that the factory opens assymetrically for ease on the rings sliding across them and not for performance???

I was thinking backwards this morning. They could be doing that on those wider transfers like the stihls.

120 is fine with me. You are correct I'm not looking for a race saw, however it's going to run really good by the look of things.

Very impressive saws here, if I do say so myself.

I have very limited saw experience, but I can even tell what's fast anymore.

Anyone have a stock vs. ported video?

I'm hoping (time, weather and videographer permitting) to do a stock 026/036 and ported with the same bar and chain in the same wood at some point on my next two builds.

Pat,
Did you happen to do a video of your 034 cutting before you pulled it apart?

Would be fun to see the difference.

I did have some older ones. I just had my phone replaced and am having some technical issues with iCould. A few Christmas ones are AWOL too.
