I came across some videos from a few years ago on YouTube of the 660 build off on AS and seen that a few 372's were whooping some 90cc! Wow is all I can say.
LolOdd thing about ms660's...I've picked stockers up that wouldn't pull a dildo out of a lard bucket, and others that will pull whatever with a bigger hole in the muffler. Like snowflakes, each is different.

So are the saws now stronger or slower than those then is the big question???Several years ago, before I even deleted the base gasket or advanced the timing, my 044 beat up a 066 (both w/24" bars) pretty badly, and the 066 guy told me his saw was not stock (I think he drilled a small hole in the muffler).
W/O porting, many 066/660s are pretty pathetic. With proper porting, as you have seen at some of the GTGs, the 70 cc saws have no chance against them with the longer bars.
I admire your improvisational skills, I too like to use whatever I have on hand for testing saw strength.Odd thing about ms660's...I've picked stockers up that wouldn't pull a dildo out of a lard bucket, and others that will pull whatever with a bigger hole in the muffler.
