So here is the 090 post rip race from Saturday Night.
The winner is the current Australian Champion
I'm in light blue shirt 3rd from camera.
This is the 090's 1st run....my 2nd event ripping with an 090.

Yeah Jason.........you're my hero. :)

I have a new found respect for the work I did to my 372. Not trying to be an asshat and pat my self on the back. Just pretty dang proud that my first ever port job can hang neck and neck with a saw that has a 16cc advantage. 288 is stock, except for base gasket delete, fresh off the rebuild bench and on its first tank of fuel. Posted this video in my build thread too.

That's why I don't keep 2 series huskies around. 372 beats up on about everything in that size wood anyway

True, that is a perfect 372 show off log. I'll do another video once the 288 is ported and in a bigger log. I'm sure the 288 will run away in that one.
Maybe. The 288 and 661 were only maybe 3 seconds faster than the 2171 I ported in a 30" elm log running 8 pins and full comp

Was the 288 and 661 ported? That's not much but faster is faster on those long cuts. 3 seconds adds up over the day. I'm really liking the 288 for its wide power band and too me it feels small for an 87cc saw. Very comfortable

True. 288 will last 2 lifetimes of a 372 but I'll take the 372 every time.

Mines not going anywhere either, I have a revived respect for it. 372 is a must have Husky IMO.

Sorry I was editing my previous post to ask you; were the 288 and 661 ported?

That's just awesome. Great job (except for the Husqy shirt...)
