Yes you do. They are the real McCoy, I promise. I've had that saw in my hands for 3 years, it's felled and bucked a lot of big wood with my gorilla ass yanking on it. I've run 20" bars on it, 24, and 28 (my most recent aquisition, a weight reduced Shugihara).

I like the 28 on it the best for logging duty, it has lots of torque. I can lean on mine with some force and it feasts.

Here's Joe's 045 with its first cuts. It's running 3/8 full skip square ground chisel off the roll with rakers set at .035".
I'll get the timing backed off just a smidge to get rid of that tick and it'll be good to go.


Boy Dad had better hang on tight, looks like that beast might just take off with him in tow!
