They work good but I have no problems with the floppy caps.

I've dumped a tank of gas on my balls before with them but it's not there fault I'm to stupid to install it correctly. Lol

The only thing I don't like about them is they collect sawdust below the lip around the oil cap and and falls in.

If I designed the flippy cap it would fall in place every 1/3 turn, instead of just once every full turn. I don't understand why they made it like that, but once you know it, just pay attention! I don't mind them.

I had an old Chevrolet that was jacked up so high that I had to sit in the engine bay to work on it. I sat on a can of carb cleaner once and took a shot to the sac. I only had about 200' feet to get to the house. Needless to say I was " Winnie The Pooh style" by the time I got to the back steps. It was NOT a fun experience.

Without having another one here to compare it's hard for me to tell but it feels like it's got more grunt but I'm a terrible judge anymore. They all kinda feel the same.

Redfin has trooney's and that is where this one is going so he can tell us in a few days.

It's got a more user friendly feel to it and is very smooth

Why talk yourself out of it?
They are a fantastic saw,run great stock and ported very well.

It's probably hinged a little more on the "want" side than "need". That's ok though I'll figure out how to justify it, sooner rather than later LOL.

Tried a regular carb on it this morning real quick before I sent it home,it does pretty good with it.

Sounded real good with the old skool carb.
How did it feel for power? Looked stronger to me than the Mtronic.
Do you use the same coil as mtronic? Or switch out carb and coil?
