Yes I remember Joyce "the chainsaw lady ". I don't have her package address in front of me as I'm away on holidays.Another name comes to mind, Joyce the "Chainsaw lady " .From what I gather she and her husband sold Homelite brand for many years .She knew the history of that company very well .For a period of time she sold a bunch of NOS parts that might have gone back 40 plus years .I bought a few things including a file guide for 1/4" files used on 1/2" gear drive chains which is something you don't see every day .She lived some place in Indiana I think .

About 7 years ago she sent me 12 issues of Chainsaw Age magazines from the 1960's , what a treat that was. Yes she knew her inventory alright, she had a great life as a Indiana Homelite dealer.
She is getting well up in age, I hope she is still around. Haven't seen her post anything for a few years now.
By the time I found someone to ship it to me the fun in trying one would be more than it’s worth. I’ve got some pretty good saws already. Just looking for one to play with. That way if I screw up and make it a lil too hot. Well then I can just laugh about it
Little food for thought...might wanna tell him prob a good idea to get that sack clipped. He'll end up like Wayne with a damn bakers' dozen of rugrats before it's all said and done.
That part of southern Indiana is like a dead zone .Cell phones don't work or GPS . You make a wrong turn you might go around in circles forever before you find your way out .Been there and done that .
Had 5 of em, none did that.Don't play with s**t. My BIL bought one. Plenty of power that you can't use. Cuts upward great. Cutting down or using the spikes and the throttle goes to idle. Stupid av system.
I think Joyce would be around 90 now. A few years ago, I bought a bunch of stuff from her and she told me she was in her early 80's then. Joyce is awesome.
