Saw paint...not factory color scheme

After seeing this pic in another topic, it got me wondering. Anybody custom color there saws. Something along the lines of sports team colors or even other product color theme. I've seen camo dipped parts, and thought that was cool too.

I have an old 026 that was faded and nasty, so she got the OD green treatment.

That acually look good in green. Just dont shut it off and set it down in tje bush, ya might loose it.

Yar, I always appreciated power tools in their bright colors - red, yellow, orange. Helps to identify where your tools are at the end of the day. Especially if they are half buried in brush.
Painting them OD green or camo seemed to be the exact opposite of what the factory color schemes were trying to do. And black just seems to make things hot in the sun.

If I were to go with non OEM color I might try a light blue.

I lost a bright orange one for about an hour once... so yeah I be leaving them bright

The couple saws i have dyed plastics or changed colors was because they were in such bad shape I had to. Was either buy new covers or dye them black. Well, also my favorite color is black. [emoji5] I also like having something different.

Ya know....
if muh Huskys were painted in creamsicle colors maybe I'd like em more.....or be motivated to work on em.

I used rit dye on plastics and a rattle can gloss black for the clutch cover.
