Yeh but only because of how they feel and sound.
There's not enough power difference between them to put one in front of the other.

Been porting a lot of quads lately and I'm beginning to like them more

I never stop testing and tuning
The 395 I did today is different than any I've ever done. Numbers are close but there's so much more to it than a number.

I have my basic recipe but I use it as a guideline more than something to duplicate.

This is the first 395 I've done with a popup plus a little band cut.

I laid out 100 119 122 82 but it landed at 101 120 123 82.5 and that's where it will stay.

A interesting thing about this 395 is it had 16 degrees of blow down stock and a unusual ks piston I've never seen before,
I like the short bd though,.090 from the base and only had to raise the transfers 6 degrees.

When i clean up this is my next project a Fleetwood gear drive

I dont know a think about it but tear it down inspect and clean blast and powder yellow and black And try too see if i can get it too fire once complete time table 2 to 3 months.

Any body know anything about a Fleetwood ?

I can't get the video to load.

I knew the 395 was off but couldn't find any problems until I noticed fuel seeping from the fuel line.
It sounds much better now

13,500 is where mine seems to run best with long bars.

13.3 to 13.7 seems to be where the ones I do are strongest.

I haven't had this one past 13k yet

Now that it's running right I'll see what it's got.

I put a couple of AM Huztl recoils on MS460s recently, just replaced the ropes with Stihl Elastostarts.

They seem to be working just fine so far.
