Roll of 46RS

Got a price from my local dealer on a 100' roll of 46rs for $450 plus tax. Comes out to around .32 cents a drive link.

I was a bit taken back i guess as i am use to 3/8 at around .20 cents a drive link. Maybe that just what .404 cost.

Does that seem to be a fair price?

I pay $0.38 but I am in Australia one thing I noticed even about 10 years ago 404 is very expensive in the states compared to 3/8.
And since you said 46RS I gather we are talking about Stihl chain.

Yes i am talking about stihl chain.

Seems that .404 just cost more and I need to just pony up the money.

Somebody in the US would know better than me but when I was importing chain from the States to here wasn't worth doing 404 very expensive compared to 3/8.

here in Australia same price doesn't matter what it is skip full comp RS RM , well same price with the two dealers I have near me .
