Removing magnesium oxydation from NOS parts

So, I have been going through the Shindaiwa stuff I got last year from a retired dealer. I have several 757 case halves that, even still in their plastic, have developed some oxidation on unpainted surfaces.
It seems to come off alright with a green Scotch pad or a fine Dremel wire brush but I wondered if there was a better solution.

Soda blast it (baking soda) but pita taping everything off if you have a bunch to do.

Hm, what does that require, equipment wise? I have a bead blast cabinet but only use it for steel and sometimes the outsides of cylinders. Can’t really convert it to soda.

what about using baking soda and water with the Scotch pad?

Ultra sonic cleaner??? Some soda followed by a rinse cycle of Simple Green? Dishwasher with ???

Didn’t think about the Sonic…will try that.

Gibbs spray worked for me. That with some light scotch rite action cleans mag and aluminum up and preserves it.
