Got a load of pine for my Dad the other day.

Went and got another load for Dad after work today. It's nice that we have daylight till about 7 now. This was a big heavy load of spruce. My 359 fell, limbed and bucked this whole load on a tank of fuel. It was on fumes at the end.

Picked up a load of locust today. There's another 12 rounds or so that wouldn't fit. This is the time of year I start cutting again.

Finally got some nice weather so I did some more work on a small clear cut for my Uncle. Hauled the logs up my atv trail to the firewood pile.

So we had record rain this winter which caused tons of damage and downed trees. Many people thought it was horrible but I see an opportunity for free firewood.

I got a call from many people about downed trees to cut up. One said that a big oak went dine on their property that they would like me to cut up. I saw it yesterday. I think there is more there than the 4 cord estimate they gave me over the phone.

There is a flat and level pad in front of the tree near a 20' wide gate. It doesn't get easier than this. I have a bunch of friends coming to help. We are meeting onsite at 0800 to start working on it.

There is free firewood all over our county this year.

Well...I said no more big burr oaks after the 4ftr i cut up last winter fer tree hundred bucks.. They kept da wood,didnt have any big saws nor a clue as to how to drop it..

This 1 is 5.5 ft across where I bore cut wiff my 288 , checkn to see if hollow or solid...ITS SOLID!
Farmers son inlaw gets da branches,
I get da log.. 25 cord i estimate is in the main log.
