Always get a blessing when I come up and hang out with my 89 yr old Pops!

I cut about 3/4 of load of downed Persimmon & Black Locust today.
About 20 yd walk bk & forth to the truck toting two logs a trip. Made for some decent Country Cardio for sure!

Had a repeat customer contact me mid-August about more honey locust down. Been busy, but finally made time today to get a partial load. More wood still on side that is not in the pictures but cut to length. May just split it off of the truck if time permits this week.

According to log weight calculator those logs weigh about 4-5k a piece which is about what I guessed. Bit much. The trailer tilts, first two got skidded on and the last one parbuckled….was a chore but fun. I wonder how many cords they will yield assuming they don’t become live edge slab tables.

2500 or 3500? Sure is squatting with that load lots of tongue weight.

It’s a 2500, with big winch a gin pole skid frame in the bed. Also, the front has thuren lift springs and shocks so it rises more
