Got a chance to do some cutting in an almond orchard. Got a load, but unfortunately I have a bad hip and haven't been able to get back there for more cutting...

Got a little more of that white oak today. Gotta get new trailer tires, where I can haul more. And I need a wood rack of some sort. Still looking for ideas on that one.

That's what I've been doing and really it's about all I want to hand split in one afternoon anyways lol. I need a new maul, been using a wedge and 8lb sledge

I think they wanted 70$ for it, I didn't think about price match. I'll give that a try. Most of the wood I will be splitting will be oak, walnut , and hickory. Will the x27 be better than the 8lb maul Fisker's has?

I say yes... it does it with swing speed. And leverage. You can swing it all day. It blows apart the wood. You'll probably never use your 8lb maul again...
