This is a big oak that lightning stuck and killed. All of the bark fell off, which Is alright by me :). I used my MMWS Ole66 and my MMWS MS361.

Standing dead score! Pre-seasoned with no rot. Man I love those

This is the above trailer load stacked. A big tree really isn't a lot of wood. It is stacked on 16ft long 4x4's. I need a few more!

Well no work for me today so I went and found me a tree to whittle on. I think it's a pinoak, pretty good size. I ran my 066 mostly. Had a good time in the woods.

Been busy lately. No single scrounge, but many. I need to get to splitting:

2 stacks of hickory (one in front of the other), which I have added to since I took this pic. I have a 3rd stack at my house for Hedgerow.

Oak rounds. The pic doesn't do it justice, there are some nice large rounds in there that you cannot see. The split stack in the back is all oak. This is my son throwing up some Oklahoma Gangsta signs. Not really, he got saw dust in his eye...

This is my mixed pile (maple, birch, sweet gum, elm, hackberry). The pile of splits in the background is pecan. The pile of rounds in the back right is a 36" yellow pine.

This is the back side of the pic above:

Got some help from a Bobcat with grapple bucket today. Probably my last load, I've got probably 2 cords more wood than space.

Hope it dries up or freezes soon for you.

We've gone from wet and muddy to bone dry. I'm afraid the warm temps may bring the brush and poison ivy out early this year.
