The game of life is just like baseball

Some are catchers
Sometimes you strike out

On a great night yout get to third base
On a really great night you hit a homerun
Sometimes you get cocky and are thrown out, but by gosh you keep trying.

the corporatized food industry has ruined many things and lunch meat is one of them...i miss good lunch meat too. is there any small artisen deli or butchers near you? they are spendy but some of them are so good.

i have considered buying a basic slicer and just making my own smoked lunch meat. i really wish there was an old fashioned deli near me. i have considered starting one. i just takes so much capitol to start with.

This is a pretty rural area. We have a lot of local butchers but they just process what we bring them. We even have on-farm butchers that come and do it on site
