Finially got around to installing the belt pulley pedestal on my VAC. I rebuilt it back in december and was about to install it when my truck broke in half. All you have to do is drain the torque tube oil and remove the cover. The gear is already on the shaft from the factory. It os used as an oil slinger to lube the steering gear.

You stack .003 and .005thick shims to get the correct back lash on the gears. I think it turned out nice. The tractor always looked naked without it.

As far as I know, there really is no point other than adding inches to your pecker.

I ended up getting multiple conflicting stories on the price. I initially was told $170k. I also heard $350k, $400k and my service manager said $700k, but he also believes Minneapolis Minnesota is in a different country.

As of now, other than exhaust, it's stone stock as they couldnt unlock the GM security on the ecm for mods...
And I guess the final price hinges on level of mods..
And it's supposedly going back to Hennessey in December for said mods.

In a way, its kinda cool, but theres a ton of body filler in the box, and it can be seen. The front inner fender liners are all chewed up from the tires rubbing amd some other stuff I'm not impressed with.
The welds on the rear are not what I would call great looking as I can put down a nicer mig weld..
