I shared one of these with a coworker during break/lunch, I had beans he had spaghetti Bolognese.
I found it pleasantly hot and could have eaten a whole, maybe even two.
He was gasping for air and his face turned red, eyes were tearing and sweat dripping off his forehead.
No idea whether my face turned red as mirrors shatter when they try to reflect my ugly visage so I no longer chance adding years of bad luck to my name.

Six feet wide at the base here, biggest stump, The rest about the same, but a little smaller.

Helene casualties. So many huge trees lost, it is just absolutely unimaginable.

And what is worse, is they will just go to a landfill. Won't get used for anything.

Why the heck would they go to a landfill?

Way too much wood to process or salvage for any purpose. It is truly hard to imagine and you have to lay eyes on the amount of wood to fathom it. I was deployed during Hugo for several weeks, and this damage is much worse than what I saw at that time.

The scale of loss is hard to grasp.
