Great pictures! What am I looking at in the 4th pic, a giant rock rising from the ocean?Had to let some sheet rock mud dry today so I took my lunch break on the top of Mount Hebo, it’s 3200 feet off the ground roughly. I can see my favorite fishing places the place I usually work and and the place I’m currently working down in Pacific city! Read a little about it and never really gave thought to much of the PNW cliffs and formations being due to volcanic activity. Probably should have, I vividly remember Mount St. Helens major eruption in high school, somewhere in the 80-81 range I think.
