Doing converters on them sucks!

Timing belt time! The whole front end comes off that in about 30 mins. Makes the job a breeze!

Timing belt already done before I bought it. Little things needed like hood support, rear brakes and some vacuum line. Timing belt looks a lot easier than the TDIs. Done both ALH and BEW in the past. Not too happy with whoever did the electrical repair and I fixed some of it already. Rides and drives nice for what I paid.

I had one follow me home also. 2013 TDI
I already have 2 TDI's ,03 Jetta and 05 Beetle, and my dad has an 06 Golf TDI. Had a 95 Passat in the past with a VR6. Almost went and looked at the 06 Jetta TDI in Rogersville for $1500, fuel pump supposedly, but I don't need another project to shade tree right now. What I don't understand is the need to pipe the exhaust through the hood anymore. Kinda stupid if you ask me to put a stack so it blows the smoke right onto the windshield. Idiots think it makes the car worth more like jacking up a truck. Both make them worthless to me and extra cost to fix it back.

@Stevetheboatguy Played optimax mechanic again tonight. Ever seen a fuel pump plug do this? Internal to the plug and I never would have found it except for some reason I grabbed the plug tonight after running the diagnostic program and finding nothing. Only heating up on the wiring is on the pump side of the plug. That foot long wiring harness is over $250 retail. Ordered the pigtail repair harness for $11.

Negative ghost rider........ Never seen that. I'm going to guess there is another broken/bad ground somewhere in the main harness to cause that. Interested to see what you find.

Edit. Disregard. I miss read that you rulled out the harness. It's been a long day my bad.
