That was two jackets down from the morning, had long Johns on too! It was 45° This morning, water was 62°

Id like to know what kinda snake that is! It looks friggin huge judging from the trees size.
Makes me look forward shoveling snow now

Looks like our garden variety canebrake rattler. Timber rattler is the more common name.
Here in Georgia we have Timber, Diamondback, Pigmy rattlers as well as cottonmouths and the occasional coral snake.
We ain't scared of snakes, ice on the roads will cause panic tho.
