Here's a 'fishing spider' I found once in Austin. It was all curled up in a corner, so I thought it was a moth at first. So, of course, I poked it with a stick. Of course, it weren't no moth:

I've had these off and on for years here @ my place. I find they tend to be solitary creatures. If I disturb them more than a time or two, they disappear for a long time.

Todays project was install the flue in the shop so i can get away from the noisy, expensive diesel heater this winter. Was 85 when i got done with the install but just had to see a fire in her belly! Burned her real hot to burn off the mouse piss. I've had the stove tucked away in a corner almost 7 years! Was time to do something with it. :D

My stove my dad bought new in 94. When they sold the house where we grew up he gave it to me. Super happy i am doing something with it now.
I'm looking forward to a warm shop this winter. That's cool you were able to repurpose your dad's stove Steve.

Was a nice brisk day with a slight breeze hwre in NE Nevada today. But like always we went fiahing anyway, just didn't stay as long.
