That's always nice to get it up off the ground I have a bad back so I know how that goes. Nothing beats the old 372 they are a tank always steady cuthing through pretty much everthing. Been real busy here the elderberry harvest is in full swing and I've been put to work devining all the berrys.
For sure, I wouldn't want to do it any other way, I like that little tractor.
The 372's are great saws, and the xtorqs out cut the oe, and get better fuel economy all while having a much broader power band. A 572 will put the smackdown on either and the 462 is crazy light, just hope you never have a problem with the electronics on them. I have a good amount of the mtronic and autotune saws and I really like them, but I also have plenty of standard carb saws as well. I snagged up 3 standard carb saws this week and one mtronic, 2 projects and 2 runners :b1:. That 288 John posted was darn tempting, but I'm not a fan of the front tensioners so the 385/390 will have to do.
Some random burl I found on a piece of firewood I was splitting, I'm guessing it had lost a limb at one time and healed over the wound.

Flat rate sucks for sure. We even get flat rated on heavy equipment. Now we live in your world!!

It has it's good points too. Some stuff a guy can become very efficient at.
I will say it changes ones perspective on things.
When you see people doing absolutely nothing yet getting paid for it tends to be irritating.

Ours is just like our 134a machine. Sucks it out, vacuums it and spits it back in.

Not ours.
It takes over 10 minutes to "warm up", pull a sample and verify the refrigerant alone.
To put it in perspective, R134 evac and recharge, GM includes in repair time on most things.
R1234yf, pays an additional 1.2 hours..

@redline4 @Steve

Either of you guys ever swap out the 3.42 to 4.10 on something like my wife's 13 Yukon xl?

Steven

No, i have not. You wanting to tow something heavy a lot? I dont think that would cause any problems other than speedometer calibration. GM is definitely an Ed question.

Yeppers. The 3.42 blows when you are towing. My old 99 w 3.73's & a bazillion mi tows circles around it and gets better mpg.
