Here's my 14 with 17'. 67,000 on van with 32,000 on the tires.

Dealer told me once these vans go through a set of tires ever 40,000.

I hear ya. And I have a hard time wanting to spend that coin on a trimmer granted I'll use it 20 times more often that a saw:facepalm:

How do you like the Coopers otherwise? I have some CS4s on my can amd they have aged very well.
Great tires! We ditched the run-flats after one set, and put the Coopers on. No spare, but how often do people really get flat tires anymore? I know personally, I've never had a flat that wasn't on a tire that I wasn't already planning on replacing anyway.

The set I have on, the fronts wore out, but the rears still looked almost new, so we ordered 2 more and put them on. Tire shop measured the tires and agreed we had enough tread left to go for it. I can't get my wife to give up her van long enough for an oil change half the time, let alone a tire rotation. SMH.

I run coopers on my company truck as well. Our whole fleet has either Discoverer AT3 or ST Maxx on them.

The problem with quality nowadays, is people don’t want to pay for it, most people want the cheapest bid. If someone calls and is looking for bids, we tell them to keep looking! Lol If someone dose not appreciate quality then they won’t like the price or the time it takes to achieve quality.

Very Sad, and VERY TRUE. The cheapest is not the best, and the best is not the cheapest.

It’s so time consuming to fit the cedar to the pillars, and when one board can exceed $100 each, mistakes, aren’t welcomed! Lol

So why are they on pillars?
Tsunami! They figured it would get about 5 feet of water in one, all of the “wall” below are breakaway walls, they aren’t fastened like a normal wall. They are a little higher than needed, about two feet higher actually. Makes a nice parking area

I’ve got 25,000 on my Super Duty’s tires and I’m happy I got that. My ‘06 Ram Cummins I was lucky to get 20,000 on any set of tires. But I’m due for a set.

20-25K is horrible. Are you towing a lot, driving on gravel a lot, or off roading?
