BTW, I could not get the clutch off with a (admitedly small) breaker bar or with my DeWalt impact. It's clearly marked which way to go(clock wise like you normally would tighten bolts). WTF... Is there trick? I mean, I know, 33 years of prolly being on there and stuff.
What size dewalt impact? Try a little lube to soak and heat, I had a 660 clutch that wouldn’t come off, and I had to make a relief cut, heat and a 600 ft-pd impact and it finally came off!

Good evening guys.
Once again I got bumped out of the thread and had to go searching for it, but I'm back now. Only forum I'm on that does that o_O.
Here's a little husky dealer next town over, he not only has the 572 sign out front, but has had one in the store for quite some time. Every now and then I go in and buy something from him, we've talked a good bit thru the yrs, but he won't come off any of his builders/parts saws :(.

Took the picture when I went to my parents to pick up some of the wood I had there before the ground thawed this week. Nice load of white oak with a little cherry.

All went well until it didn't . Sorry about the yard dad, this is what you get when you pay your tree guy nothing:risas3:.
Dad tried to pull the truck and trailer and she didn't budge, his sunk down to where mine did, I unhooked the trailer and he repositioned and it came right out. I took it out of 4wd and drove out like it was nothing .
I come back the next morning when the ground froze again and got it out. This was all Friday and Saturday, now most the snow is gone, and all will be gone by the weekend :(.

Krug Park lagoon north end of Joetown used to be silted in three foot deep mud puddle full of bullheads and goldfish. People would feed the assorted ducks drybread with their kids.

Five years ago the city drained it and dug out to an average eight to ten foot deep. Rocked the banks to stabilize erosion.

Mo. Dept of Conservation stepped up and stocked it with bass, sunfish and channel cats upon refilling.

This is the second year MODOC stocked trout November first.

It’s catch and release up until Feb 1. Then you can use natural bait and keep per regulations.

It was a fine afternoon for a geezer to spend a couple hours. [emoji108]
Nice catch.
Is that what you're using the blood knot on :).

I just smack them off with a hammer and screwdriver.

I'd do that if I was replacing the clutch, but I am replacing the sprocket - 288's are outboard clutch. I am gonna wait until I am back on the estate and put the bar in a vice and use a longer breaker bar.

Geziz. Yeah, I think this clutch has never been off. I have a 18V DeWalt electric. If I had a pneumatic, I like to think it woulda worked :)
Still, tho, this lil DeWalt has popped nuts off of cars and trucks. So this thing is really on.

I couldn't get a 394 clutch off with my DeWalt 1/4" impact. My buddy with the big Milwaukee 1/2" impact rattled it off in about 3 ugga duggas.

I doesn't hurt anything. Alot of husky and echo clutches have recesses in them for a punch and hammer.

Id try like Nathan said and try some heat. Ive had one that someone put loctite on.

Loctite cant stand heat!

I thought I was going to bend the rod! Lol the 1/2 drive Milwaukee has way more power than the 600 ir pneumatic, and the 600 is impressive for what it is, my clutch was trash, like Steve said a punch can do wonders too, my 2100 cam off nice that way.
