What is it Steve.
What is it Steve.
Star of Bethlehem. Kinda of a pain to mow and it is poisonous.
Toxicity of Foxglove. As with many poisonous plants, foxglove is poisonous to both people and pets. The plant contains cardiac glycosides such as digitoxin, digloxin, and digitalin. The foxglove plant is actually the source of the heart medication known as digitalis.Old foxglove picsView attachment 179212View attachment 179213

I am pretty sure its not a "totally" wild plant here in the UK ....If i didn't have it , I would most likely get the plant from a Garden Store or be given a devision by a friend.Thats what i thought too!

Ya my dad told us that when we were kids, I had some friends that thought they were honey suckle! Apparently they were taught to eat the inside edge of the petals....Toxicity of Foxglove. Wild lilly or weed? Doesn't matter. If itd in the yard it gets mowed!
Same here.
Weed, flower, basketball, woodchuck, lawn chair, if it's laying there when I'm mowin, it's getting chopped up.
Exactly! Sometimes i feel bad for mowing a toy left in the yard but i always tell them to put it away or its getting mowed.
