Points for getting it into the sink! [emoji108]

My then twelve year old turned the corner from the hall and redecorated the whole bathroom.

It was epic.[emoji2960]
My son was about 12 as well when he lost his cookies on our 1200 dollar leather couch. I sure miss that couch. We couldnt get the smell out. No pics but it was grose.

Well yeah that's what sells the advertising!
I'm sure if they could flash tits on there they would.

Thank goodness I can use my phone for weather instead of them jokers.
Exactly.

I was pretty pessimistic about the forecast today, they said it was going to snow and it did, not a lot though.
Now what's odd is it's been snowing on and off and the whole time it's 37-39 o_O, I didn't see that coming.

its pretty easy to read a radar and some gauges anymore. The dramatics is what keeps people coming back. Are local weather man is cream himself getting to talk about tornadoes again. I'd like to throat punch the prick.

Had to replace a 23’ section of sewer pipe yesterday... not what I wanted to do, but it needed to be done. It was literally a “*s-wordty” job.View attachment 171205 View attachment 171206 View attachment 171207
The sewer pipe I replaced sounds an awful lot like the stuff described here...

https://www.sewerhistory.org/articles/compon/orangeburg/orangeburg.

Coal Tar Impregnated Wood Fibre Pipe

Complete junk and used in the 40’s & 50’s as a cheap alternative to other materials available at the time.

The old saying “they ain’t built like they use to be”, I am glad! I know some of the old houses were build ok, but we can do a lot better now! When we are remodeling an old place, it’s surprisingly poor craftsmanship, of coarse there are exceptions on both end, but I am glad we don’t build them like they use to! lol Insulation, plywood, concrete, wiring, modern plumbing and windows, I like the new stuff!!

I agree. I would much rather build new. I only bought this house because I got it for next to nothing... I gutted it down to the studs, and I’m basically replacing everything but the floor and wall framing. I am upgrading the plumbing and electrical to current code, and replacing the roof with new trusses.

The framing actually looks pretty good, but the fire damaged the roof, and I want to remove some interior load bearing walls, anyways.

The worst part is that there isn’t much of a crawl space, which means I will have to do some hand excavation underneath, which I am not looking forward to.

Isnt that when you say "Kids, lets play a game where you go in there and fill this bucket up. Then bring it out. Ready? Go!"

It has never worked for me, but hey, first time for everything.
