Not sure, the saw only has less than a season on it. Depth gauge set at .035" with 33rsf chain

It definitely looks like it was cracked before, all of the dark spots are old, the shiny is new.

Thanks, I kinda thought it looks like a blue heeler/horse cross. Stubby, blue, strong, and a barrel with legs.

Yea that horse does resemble a blue heeler. I wonder what breed, looks like a Belgian kinda.

'puter says Russian Heavy Draft, I'll go with that as it's been a long time since I actively studied up on horses.

Looks like it had a crack already started....

From that big oak tree job we finished up on Monday. I counted 73 rings before I had to get back to bucking. Those 500's really impress me. Pulled a 36 through that wood like it was butter. That saw made alot of chips on that job and even made the start cut for the 880 with the 52 inch bar. I couldn't imagine how nasty a ported 500 could be.

It does look like they use more cut outs, in the Walker bars , than the Sugi

The Russian draft was developed from the Belgium. But, supposedly the Russian draft do not have grays or blue roan's like the Belgiums do.

Either way, that's one good looking piece of Horse flesh.
