The Russian draft was developed from the Belgium. But, supposedly the Russian draft do not have grays or blue roan's like the Belgiums do.

Either way, that's one good looking piece of Horse flesh.
I thought the head resembled a Belgium. Been working with a few of them laitily, they seem more calm than shires or Clydesdale's

Belgium are generally considered the gentlest of the draft breeds. There called gental giants for a reason.

Those there Walkers bars any lighter than the Sugi's or Tsumuras??
Local tree guy has some, he said they are more durable than an Oregon, stiffer than a Stihl Lite, and lighter than the Japanese bars. Plus, they have the easy to find Oregon tip pattern.

I have one of those.
Does it still have the pup motor start?
No they switched it over to an electric starter.
That would be cool if it still had the pony motor for starting the main engine.
Every pony motor I’ve encountered was a pain it the ass. I’d rather have electric start.
If the thing actually functions hell yes!
Yeah it works. Not sure how worn out it is, but it’s from the 1960s, so it’s done a lot of work.

A basic 90 year old 2x4E55E9B1C-C845-4DCE-8513-A8FAF4DE550A.jpeg

And after this trx90 split a prime in my face, I got the bore scope out and yes, the intake valve thought it was transitioning into a piston, and found our it wasn’t it’s type… 9A905081-7D41-44B2-A414-B6AD0B8B976B.jpeg
