You will just have to stick with my MMWS 261 ... it's pretty darn impressive!!!
Not a 261 fan brother Mike. Not sure why. They just don’t feel right in my hands for their displacement. I like the 026 best with 5100 right behind it.

OK, I got a MOFO 026 for ya!!! But my 261 is a Ver II, and it may grow on ya!

In the Type II, they've done so many things to save weight. Lighter piston, aluminium case bolts, redesigned cylinder fin style, smaller top cover, smaller intake partition, and lighter clutch cover. Until I rebuilt this one I just sold while I had a batch of new ones on the bench, I didn't realize just how many changes there actually were.

I’ll have to check it out.

I sure like a light saw. Not sure how I feel about aluminum bolts, heck I have no trouble twisting off a steel bolt.

They seem strong. There is of course a process to tightening them, and they are not reusable.

Get your mitts on a TM 241 ;)

All BS aside. If you build a mean 241 they just put a smile on your face busting up trees. That TM saw ate seasoned hickory like butter. 1" a second in 6" wood no BS. 261 vs 241. 241 most times for me. Thing is the 200T in bread N butta:coleman::cool:
