It's the feeling you get when the saw you are working on is done that keeps me interested in this. Best feeling when saw goes together and she runs like a champ.
The tune on that saw was spot on when I ran it.Makes sense!
From looking at the plug and knowing where I had it tuned, I don’t think it was lean at all.
I was running klotz benol. Great lube but burns super dirty! I’d bet if I had Amsoil in there wash would be barely perceptible at 1-1/2 tanks.
Well I was hoping today... but im very THOROUGH...
Sounds good Dan.
I oughta bring my 562 for you to NY. With few mild mods it hangs with a stock 461. We seem to be converting you Jeff... lolThose 262 XPs are nice. Dan does good things to them too. [emoji106]
If I were you I’d pick up a nice 268xp/272xp with the hd filter. Last one I worked on impressed me. Rugged design, good hdfilter setup and power...I couldn’t tell a difference stock vs stock with a 372 other than it has more torque.Well.... I said they are nice. But I don't own one yet. Lol
If I ever come across a clean one, I wouldn't hesitate to grab one. Price has to be right too.
I don't want to ruffle feathers, but you all know what I am all about. [emoji106] Lol
That’s gotta be like 85-90% of exhaust port opening right? What kind of muffler mod are you doing on these Dan? I cut the baffle out of mine which opened up the outlet to full size under the deflector.
But... But.... I got a 026, 261, 360, 460, 660. Don't need much else. LolIf I were you I’d pick up a nice 268xp/272xp with the hd filter. Last one I worked on impressed me. Rugged design, good hdfilter setup and power...I couldn’t tell a difference stock vs stock with a 372 other than it has more torque.
