Ok that’s good Joe,
I’ll take 4, and 4 fuel lines and fuel filters as well.
Let me know the total and I’ll PP you.
Thanks!

I do not use or stock the pigtails Dan, I use Echo line. Would you like four feet of it ($2.79/FT) or would you like me to order you four pigtails ($5.40/EA.) ?

The 262’s had straight line originally right?
I think that will be fine.

Great work and attention to detail Dan.

Good pickup on the intake tract. Did you grind on the outside, or was it that way factory?

Are all of the saws running 87 carbs? Matching the intake may matter less on the ones that aren’t.

I’ll go take a look a Kyle’s before I go to work and see how the intake looks. I noticed when matching it that it flared in quite a bit on the edge closest to cyl. on this one.

The intake block is smaller on Kyle’s as well. It’s smaller on all 4 sides.

Had a couple min, matched Kyle’s intake, the gasket lined up with the port on this one, but the block was slightly smaller.
Waiting on the carb kits now, and I’ve got a friend taking care of the mess on that muffler for me.
Are you opening the block to match the intake Dan? Sorry if this has been covered...catching up

Yeah, when I placed the gasket on the cylinder I noticed a step, so I matched the gasket, then placed the gasket on the block and marked it. I then tapered it back to the carb side of the block.
I think Ryan’s had been opened on the cylinder some when someone else ground on it. But I don’t want any steps.
Kyle’s cylinder matched the gasket, but the block was still smaller.

Thanks. I don’t like steps either, I think it creates what I refer to as “pickup truck” turbulence. Can’t wait to hear these saws run, your attention to detail is going to make them all home runs.
