First I measure everything

Measure base to squish first. Check in a number of locations.
Then place a ring in the bore and push down with a piston to the port opening and measure from base to the ring.

Non decomp would be good. Personally, I've have yet to get a decomp that leaked, but some keep saying "They always leak" and stuff... so I will abide by that advice.

Great stuff Dan! Did you double check that base to intake measurement on the first KS cylinder? It seems out of place with the other cylinders.
