Honestly the only thing about this whole profanity thread and the purpose behind it is we typically all use it from time to time. I'll admit I'm in the more than most category but mainly around the fellas. I completely understand some kids may see it and others don't believe in it. All said if you haven't watched TV or stepped into a school in the past ten years ya might wanna check them out first. Not trying to ruffle feathers here but if you turn wrenches on a regular and that baby has slipped off under full load... I'll let you tell that lie you said something nice :sifone:
The bottom line here is, when you and I both signed up here, we agreed to the forum rules. That includes NO profanity. I can and will abide by those rules and all of the others that I agreed to. But I certainly won't be mashing my fingers while turning wrenches and posting on the forum all at the same time!

If you ask anyone to color a picture of a fire truck, they'll most likely color it red. Why is that? There are several theories about why fire engines are red. One theory suggests that fire trucks were first painted red back in the 1800s when fire brigades took so much pride in their trucks that they wanted them to stand out and feature the most regal and expensive color, which at the time was red. Others believe fire trucks were first painted red because of early cars. When the automobile was first made by Henry Ford, they were all black because it was an inexpensive color. With so many black automobiles on the road, the fire brigades wanted the trucks to stand out, but there is more to it than that. The real reason why fire trucks are red remains somewhat shrouded in mystery. There are, however, a few competing theories out there, one of which may contain some or most of the truth is; Back in the early 1800's fire fighters used horse and carts. The carts had eight wheels and four people on them, and four plus eight makes twelve, and there are twelve inches in a foot, and one foot is a ruler, and Queen Elizabeth was a ruler, and Queen Elizabeth was also a ship, and the ship sailed the seas, and there were fish in the seas, and fish have fins, and the Finns fought the Russians, and the Russians are red, and fire trucks are always “Russian" around, so that's why fire trucks are red.
