I think the smaller secondary bevel needs to be thinner or less height.

Not being a smartass, but yep most of it looks just great, some bits of top plate not ground, but only little bits. also looks very roughly ground, was it done by machine?

I can't help because I have never even thought of trying this but I'm interested in how this works

The only advice I can give you is to try not to make your edges to thin if you're planning on cutting hard wood but soft wood it will fly through it like crazy until you find rocks in the bark but definitely looks good.

@gorilla the two angles are intentional. I have a finer wheel I could try. Haven't gotten to test it yet.
