My coworker bought his forks on Amazon for like 180 iirc. And they're the good kind that connect to the loader arms in place of the bucket instead of the stupid clamp on one's.
Any way you could find a link to that? I have a 65 horse tractor with loader, but no forks. It's a Deutz-Allis, so it doensn't have a 'skidloader' style quick connect, it's something different.

I'll leave this here:

Personally, I like the way stacked wood looks, but I don't have much time for stacking. My splitter pushes splits through the 4-way and leaves a nice pile. I leave the piles right where they are until I've got a better place for the wood. Sometimes that's the bed of my truck if I'm gonna sell it, or else it'll be a pallet or wagon headed to one of the wood burners on the property.

I watch this guy alot

What I've been moving toward after getting tired of pallets. Threw out 17 old pallets this spring clean-up days. Plenty more to go as I use the wood off of them.

I would love to have sheds like yours, but two things stopping me for now. 1. I can be kind of lazy after 50-60 hour work weeks. 2. I worry about what Omaha would say about seeing all the roofs with their drones. I'm only allowed 1 season worth of wood in the city. My take is it takes 3 years to dry so I have just over 1 season worth. I wonder how far that will take me if they ever come down on me. Another good reason to try and stay on my neighbors good side.

Store it in your garage, and under the house, maybe dig a cellar for the wood.

One year is enough to dry hard firewood well enough to burn, especially if stacked loose and facing full sun.

Just thinking outloud here. I would think you would get better, drier wood if you had it outside, under a covered "lean-to". The cold air dries wood much better than being inside with no air flow based on my prior experiences.
How is it working for you AJ?

Mine dries well in the garage if I keep a small stash there. In the house is the best with the AC as a dehumidifier. The chunks by the fireplace left from last year are so dry they almost don't need kindling.

I'm sure Andrew has a barn if needs be.

I dunno about Andrew over in England, but it's 36* here where I am in Ireland and 80* humidity. We mainly use barns and stables to store our wood. We have one lean to, but that's really a reappropriated breeze way.
