3MM egg that I got from the company Cole works for
I did another 372 last night and was gonna get a pic of the burr but forgots. I got them for porting a 5100. 1/8” will barely get into the transfersEgg shapes burrs are my fav. I use a 3/16" a lot in transfers.
Where do you get that one?
Got to love Christmas presents like that.lolChristmas present last year, was in a kit with some other small burrs
Looks awesome. I really like that intake port shape and the transfer inlets look slick. Nice grinding buddy
That little dip is the original floor. I didn’t leave it there on purpose, but it’s not hurting anything either. Please explain the strategy for the dip in the intake floor. If I am thinking correctly, that is how you are optimizing your numbers while keeping your intake timing Turley in check. The intake port is still eluding me.
I think I’ve made a few lazy revving (relative to a better ported saw) by dropping my intake a little to low, although I hit my numbers.
Thank you!!!
He will probably come back with another one once he runs that one.Had to switch to a 562 to keep it interesting. Local tree guy brought it over and said the dealer told him it was scored. Turns out the bearings were shot and locked up. When I quoted him the price for a new short block he asked me to port it also .

Only done a few 562’s. I change them a little each time and check the owner’s feedback. I’ll find out tomorrow if it’s any good. Maybe get vidja if it’s not rainingHe will probably come back with another one once he runs that one.
At one time husky sold the short block. Do you go that route because of economics?Only done a few 562’s. I change them a little each time and check the owner’s feedback. I’ll find out tomorrow if it’s any good. Maybe get vidja if it’s not raining
Both bearings were shot. Cheapest I found was $80 for both proprietary bearings with seals and a gasket set. The whole loaded crank case with new bearings, seals, and the crank with stuffers was only $109At one time husky sold the short block. Do you go that route because of economics?
