Was very surprised by how decent port heights were on this aftermarket set. W/O gasket, on a 350 case, it was 105-125-70, squish .028. Piston goes all the way to bottom of ex port at bdc, piston was dead even with opening of lowers at bdc, intake was hige already, just lowered it a few degrees, raised ex just enough to add good arch after widening. For the $20 i paid, id take ten more right now.

Ok going to try a big bore this is a farmertec and it needs a good weekend of work on it before I'd even consider putting it on any saw......... I'm going to say if it doesn't free port then I can guarantee you the sqishs will be 48' to 50' definitely low compression but the piston being heavy will I think make up for that so I'll port this cylinder and see if it's worth keeping on the saw. I know i know but I'm going to do it anyway.lol IMG_20190222_203914.jpg IMG_20190222_202905.jpg IMG_20190222_202847.jpg IMG_20190222_202810.jpg IMG_20190222_202830.jpg

Keep an eye on the plating. I’ve tried these cylinders.

Some inspirational work all through this thread with great attention to detail.
A few of my attempts, still learning what works and what doesn’t. Any criticism to help me improve is welcome
