was down at tree monkey's testing the ported 661 with a 660 carb. Scott suspected the coil was actually not limited...

Saw = tree monkey ported 661R
bar = Tsumura 36" .063 404
chain = Stihl RS .404 full comp

back to the mtronic again, same chain.

That's what I want to see! I knew the M-tronic had to be limiting the performance a little!

Now I'm sure it'll be cheaper to operate over the long run without having to go to dealers just to find out what is the problem!

Sure the carb may only be a second faster or so but it's a difference for sure.

According to all the threads "over there", it needed a flywheel and coil because of the feedback from the carb back to the coil.

This thread may make a bunch of guys really happy
I must agree with you because
the other flywheel is about 170 euros
the other coil is 110 euros


so if this can stay prooved then the stihl factory with theirs top notch technology must put the head to a bucket full of *s-words
