That's changes things. Stay with what you can get.
I think i can get it but a bit like KenJax Tree said...it turns it into a 1 off size saw, in the opposite way round in sizes . Hey..would it make life to darn simple if stuff could just be the same in standard form :D

Oregon pro- lite or micro lite .325 050 are a good call with a oregon 95VPX chain and easy to get

Here are some photos of a 3/8 chain with the two different rim sprockets if anything the chain fits better in the normal 3/8 rim I have tried dolmar and oregon chain but haven't got a clue about stihl View attachment 15325

That isn't what I see in your pictures, the last driver isn't quite in there - and you can see that the drive tangs aren't in the same place relative to the 7 openings in the side of the rim. It would be clearer (for illustrations) if you tried to go all the way around the rim with the chain.

Likely, only one of the drive tangs really has contact with its corresponding "pin".

The main issue with .325 narrow kerf (NK) is that there isn't a true chisel option. 95VPX, 95TXL and Carlton K1NK/WP20NK are the only chain models available, and all are semi chisel.

If semi chisel is all you use, it is of course a relevant option on smaller saws .

The 20LPX chain (regular chain, not NK) will work with the NK bars on some saws, and not on others. They aren't meant to be used together, so it is just a bonus when it works.

I don't know if the combination works on those Dolmar saws.

Interesting I was thinking about a sugihara NK or a oregon NK one of these must fit don't you think
Thanks

Photo0684.jpg Photo0685.jpg Photo0686.jpg Photo0687.jpg Photo0688.jpg Arrived today :)
First off ...this isn't a comparison thing at present ,Im interested in what the saw is in itself. Iv used one of my 42 specials in some pics as i realise for those who haven't eyeballed a ps 420 you need something you may know to give scale to the saw.
Out of the box everything fitted a treat and I was surprised with the extras included. Mine came with 2 bars ...a 3/8 bar and chain and a 15 in .325 1.3mm bar and 3 !! chains ( think that is a dealer little extra to yours truly ,Cheers Bud ). Build is nice, all slick fitting and neat cases with good feel to the bits you hold. Fueled up and the primer pushed 5 times , it fired on the 3 pull, 1 more after that and it ran. Not noisy thanks to the cat Muffler ( sure that is going to bite the dust asap! ) ,low vibe was noticeable and it is not really what you could call heavy in the hands. Ok then...not a pocket rocket just yet ...BUT... defiantly potential !! .
It started to free up over the 15 mins i used it, giving it a mixture tweek part way through as was rich to start (12200 max free..upped that to 13000 after 10 mins) .
Even in its standard form and not even close to run in ....Yup...not bad...not bad at all :)
More to follow as i get on and use it in anger with firewood this month.

Excellent little saw, especially after removing the cat and retuning. It's quickly becoming the first saw I grab for small stuff.

Actually, that Dolmar bar likely is a rebranded ProLite 95VPX (earlier called Microlite Pro) with the K041 mount.
Dare say your spot on...the chain is a Oregon .325 1.3mm that comes with the saw. Think I will try the 20 LPX chain , as i have 21 LPX on many of my other saws and find it ok.

Sweet!! Love all the Dolmar swag it came with too!
The" Leatherman" type tool that came in the box is a bit of a surprise ! ..A cap and a mug , sure ..but thats not what you could call a normal "Free Bee" IMO.

I didn't get none of that stuff. Well except for this sweatshirt I'm wearing.
