Does the other side match mine? At this point you could call Kevin at Rottman sales, or grind the fins and run it. Years ago they had a old timer at Rottman sales that actually would make the cylinders. Could be the case with your cylinder. Got to remember all this stuff has been sitting on shelf's for a very long time now.

Is a picture of my receipt. No individual part numbers though.View attachment 227133
Hello again. I'm waiting for a new cylinder now. Larry at Rottmans opened a few kits and found the correct cylinder for me. Nice guy. I'm ordering boyesen 801 reeds tomorrow. I took my reed block off and noticed 2 cracks on the inside. Is it okay to run it like that?? After I'm done with this one I think I might try a p45 build. Think I've been bitten by the bug .....

You can JB weld the cracks, or order another block from Rottman sales.

I am so pissed. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I got the cylinder today and new reed block Put everything together and pull crank a few times and it seems like a ring is catching. I cranked it by hand turning the flywheel and it didn't do it. I've torn it apart twice double checking it. I'm at a loss. The pc kit came with three rings

So that is fixe . Wasn't a ring catching at all now next question I bought a new p42 coil. I have no spark. I have p41 flywheel on it. Will that work or does it need a blue coil?

You will need the newer flywheel to go with the coil. The flywheel you have is for the two piece ignition, and doesn't work for the newer coil. I have one here that is missing a couple fins.IMG_20200307_190954.jpg IMG_20200307_191004.jpg IMG_20200307_185809.jpg

Lol well hell. This saw has officially drained my wallet and patience. I haven't even heard it run yet. I'll see if rottmans has a flywheel. At this point I hav . 125 + 30 + 25 + 13 + 68 + 148.50. Did sell the original coil for 75 though. Live ya learn

If you decide to sell you can make your money back on it. Once you run it you won't be selling it though.
