I have this old partner I believe is a r440 it was painted blue at one point but originally appears to be mostly yellow. Has a decomp 56mm bore. Anyway it is missing a muffler, top cover, and recoil and I am going to try to get it running again. Can someone help me here is the serial number IMG_20231229_095536498.jpg

Yes but does that help identify model or not lol?
Sorry, I could not help it. I don't know much about Partner chainsaws, except they are cool looking and I would like to rebuild one, but I first have to finish my Husky 2100cd. If you do find parts for it and get it rebuilt, show us some pictures!!

The serial number likely isn't going to help with ID. Partner did not catalog their serial numbers the way Stihl did.

There aren't many Partners with a 56mm bore - R440, P100 to name two. If you post pictures of the entire saw then we can ID it.

Here are some more pictures looks like this thing has points does that differentiate r440 vs p100 also does it matter for the parts I need? Are a muffler, recoil and top cover the same on both?

I think that's an R440 because of the points. I believe the P100s were issued from day one with the solid-state ignition, but
I don't know these models very well (I think some used a solid-state with a trigger module).

In regard to the muffler/starter/top cover, you'd probably be best off to consult the IPLs for the P100 and R440. I'm attaching them
here.
