Ok boys. Long time from my last post. Nothing interesting to show you until i got my hands on this italian made mongrel. The cylinder looks like a H 55 with 48mm bore. The oil pump olso looks a copy. The starter internals and flywheel looks like Stihl made.

Rest of the pictures when i get them. The saw is 62 cc. Per Acres internet site. 48mm bore x 34.3 stroke. The air filter looks like Stihl also with built in choke. The cylinder has some sort of finger ports from the factory.

I think that is a Stihl MS 341 cylinder.

@Cracker Boy has had one of these in his hand.

If you look closer you l see what my point. The fin shape is similar to H55. The intake is modified. The exhaus is bigger. Has GILARDONI cast on the left side.

The exhaust can is 2 part. The cap has that nifty deflector. The spacer bolts are welded to a funnel type thingy. Norrow to the back and a little bit wider to the front.

On the outside between the exhaust flange and the muffler has a 3 mm aluminium spacer. Thinking to make a heat shield instead.

After the spark plug bulge they put a wire mesh screen. Factory frogskin. Also a wire mesh prefilter on the air intake in the carb box.
