Good deal. You need that for finding gears next year ;)
Puff puff dont pass

Not far behind you. The left thumb goes numb now and then. I can live with arthritis for now.

Utah, unfortunately.....
FWIW my deceased wife was an amputee ,caused by an industrial accident .How she manged literally with one hand I'll never know but she did .
This is the truly amazing thing about many human beings....the ability to adapt, and overcome adversity.

I hate surgery. I've had so much over the years I've forgotten around half of them (probably from all the anesthesia) . It looks like you may get the thumb movement back, great news.

I'm putting off my right wrist surgery, bone on bone, only about 45 degrees of movement, but Hell I can still move it. If I get surgery for it I come out of the hospital with a brass plate in the wrist so it no longer moves. It's gonna take a lot of wrist pain to get me to submit to more surgery that just limits my movement.

I had almost the same kind of surgery on my left hand a few years ago. Honestly, I felt close to 100% after a week or so but I waited until the doc said I was ready to do any kind of work with it. My cast came off after 2 weeks and I just wore a soft brace for awhile after.
