Got some old saws I want to see if they will run. What is a safe ratio to mix the gas. Saws made 40 through 60s. Thanks

The oil quality nowadays is better than years back. I personally run all my vintage saws on 40:1

Thanks for the info. just wanted to make sure. Some of the gear/ clutch box say to run SAE 160 gear oil. Can't find any of that . I hope 90 weight gear oil is ok.
