Oem 254 piston is NLA in US.

I have both new oem and meteor piston at home, but it will take me a bit time (a few days) to compare them.

Okey, I understand now.
I bought mine from Greece, 27$, he is probleby the cheapest dealer in Europe.
I bought a few cabers also, paid slightly over 4$ each.
If it wasnt because of shipping cost I would bought from one of the members here or the owner of this forum.

Edit, updated my post

Iv used Meteor pistons a few times with most satisfactory success. I believe they come with a Caber ring as standard ( i think )..however the quality has been very good and tolerances like OEM. They have a rep over here ( UK) as the "go to option " other than OEM.
Golf are not so bad ether..have a Golf piston with a Caber ring in my Day to Day 42 special with some port work .
